Fireside Fest returns Thursday, September 10, from 4–8 pm at Porter’s Supply Co. in Riverton, bringing an evening of fall fun for the whole family.
Get ready to enjoy live music from The Tinderwoods, a farmers market, fresh sweet corn for sale by 1890 Farms, LLC, food trucks (WyoSips, WyoPhilly, and Little Cravin’s by Dulce V), a petting zoo, face painting with Face Painting Pro, and s’mores around the fire.
Whether your perfect fall evening involves finding something delicious at a food truck, browsing the farmers market, listening to music or roasting a marshmallow until it reaches that very specific shade of almost burned, there will be plenty happening throughout the night.
Who’s Got the Chops?
There’s also something new joining the Fireside Fest lineup this year: a Firewood Chopping Competition!
Contestants will put their chopping skills to the test as the wood chips fly and the crowd finds out who really has the chops. Expect a little friendly competition, plenty of cheering and some serious bragging rights on the line.
