All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Lander, WY) – 48-year-old Rebecca Milleson entered into a “not guilty” plea during her District Court arraignment hearing on March 23rd.
Milleson faces a felony aggregate theft charge after reportedly taking $34,399.67 from the Town of Pavillion. This amount has been paid back, according to court documents.
This theft is reported to have happened between August 1st, 2020 and January 6th, 2021 while she was serving as the town clerk.
Her case now moves to a jury trial which has been scheduled for July 19th, 2021.
This charge is punishable by imprisonment of no more than 10 years, a fine of no more than $10,000, or both.
