All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Riverton, WY) – Fremont County man Tyler Holford, 33, faces six felony charges for the sexual exploitation of children, after authorities reportedly discovered numerous pornographic videos and photos of underage children on his phone, home computer and a digital Dropbox account associated with his name.
Sufficient probable cause was found at Holford’s September 1st preliminary hearing to move the case to District Court, where an arraignment hearing was set for September 23rd.
In January of 2021, the Wyoming Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) reportedly received a cybertip indicating that child pornographic videos were uploaded to a Dropbox account with an Internet Protocol (IP) address originating from a Riverton residence owned by Holford.
A Dropbox account warrant was executed, and approximately 250 child pornographic videos and a handful of images were contained in the account.
After agents reviewed the evidence a federal premise warrant was issued for Holford’s residence.
During this search, agents learned that Holford had relocated to a new residence, and also determined the location of his employment.
Agents made contact with Holford at his place of employment, where he consented to questioning, waived his Miranda rights after they were read to him, and agreed to speak with the agents.
Holford then allegedly admitted the following during this questioning: creating the Dropbox account associated with the videos/images, being given access to child pornographic videos, and possessing more child pornographic material on his home computer.
Upon Holford’s arrest, a search warrant for his phone was also obtained, where agents found more child pornographic material in the phone gallery.
During the additional search warrant of Holford’s residence, a Computer Forensic Analyst employed by Homeland Security Investigations reportedly discovered four folders on his desktop computer, which contained over 1,600 videos of “what appeared to be child pornography at first glance.”
The maximum penalty for a sexual exploitation of children felony count is ten years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine.
Holford’s arraignment hearing has been set for September 23rd.
