Fremont County Coroner Mark Stratmoen confirmed at the end of January that missing Fremont County resident 23-year-old Jade Wagon had been found deceased. The investigation remained active and no additional information was provided by Stratmoen or the lead investigators, Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Today, March 6th, 2020, a joint press release from the FBI and Fremont County Coroner’s Office was shared in regards to Wagon’s manner of death.
Their press release explains the “cause of death was hypothermia due to environmental exposure and acute methamphetamine intoxication.” Her manner of death has been ruled as “accidental.”
