For the third time since 2001, the Wyoming Army National Guard 115th Field Artillery Brigade unit deployed on July 29 from the Cheyenne Civic Center. They have headed to Fort Bliss, Texas, for additional mobilization training before deploying to various locations in the Middle East for nine months.
The 129 soldiers are from 21 towns across Wyoming including Dubois and Lander in Fremont County and four other states.
