(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a very weak upper-level disturbance will be moving east across the area today, December 13, which will produce some cloudy skies that will mostly clear throughout the day into tonight.
Lipson added that even though the skies will clear, the brightness of the moon (due to the upcoming Cold Moon full moon on December 15), may make it difficult to view the peak of the Geminids Meteor Shower, but there will be a window of viewing opportunity after the moon sets and before the sun rises in the early morning hours.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that wind and snow will accompany a weather system moving in tomorrow, bringing snow to the west and wind to central WY through Sunday. Monday will then be cooler and breezy, but more snow could be on the way Tuesday, the NWSR added.
High temperatures will be in the 40’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 20’s and upper teens.
