The fuel system operations change at Hunt Field in Lander was completed this week. According to RaJean Fossen, prior to July 2019, the fuel system was a contracted service. Instead of renewing the contract, it was decided to take over the fuel operation as a way to increase revenue for the airport. RaJean shared, this change will help pay for future projects at the airport.
This completion comes just in time for the annual ‘Wings and Wheels’ event happening on September 7th at Hunt Field. Festivities begin at 8:00 am and wrap-up with a Sinks Canyon Poker Run from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This is a free event for “all generations” and there will be food vendors at Hunt Field all day.

Thank you for your patience on the changeover of the fuel system. The final installation was completed today. There is no longer a pro key system and you will have to use a credit card for all transactions.
