(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that as of today, October 6, some areas of the Wind River Basin received well over an inch of precipitation over the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also provided the following rainfall totals.
Lipson added that skies will gradually clear after morning fog dissipates, as the trough of low pressure exits to the east and the ridge of high pressure builds in from the west. We will have our first freeze in many areas of the Wind River Basin tonight under clear skies, along with patchy, dense fog that could develop in some locations tonight into tomorrow.
Highs will be in the 40s and lower 50s today, with lows tonight in the lower 30s.
