(Riverton, WY) –Porter’s Mountain View Supply and County 10 teamed once again for the annual Grilled competition on Saturday in the Porter’s parking lot, where Patrick Edwards, Mike Chingman, and Chris Warren, each a former winner of the event, competed in a 2026 champion of champions showdown.

The format mirrors competition cooking shows like Chopped. Contestants get 30 minutes, a hot grill, and a basket of ingredients to build the best burger they can. This year’s ingredients included ground beef, buns, and cheese alongside some stranger fixings like sriracha, pineapple, and buldak ramen.
All three took different approaches. Warren kept his ramen uncooked for added crunch and made a spicy beer cheese. Chingman grilled his pineapple and mixed hot sauce into his patty. Edwards simmered his ramen with spices and vegetables before topping his burger with avocado and grilled prosciutto.

Judges Cindy Olson Roden of the Riverton Chamber of Commerce, County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson, and Amanda Henry of Brown Sugar Coffee Roastery said they had a tough time picking a winner after working through all three burgers. Edwards took the title and went home with a custom Grilled Cattle brand and the Weber grill he cooked on to go along with bragging rights.

The audience at Porter’s got free burgers, a dunk tank, duck netting in a kiddie pool, and face painting. Grilled is held annually around Father’s Day as a nod to dads, and at Porter’s specifically because the store is Fremont County’s premier location for dads and non-dads to get their grilling and pool supplies.
