Multiple national news outlets are reporting today, October 29th that Walmart Corporation announced all firearm products will be removed from the sales floor and displays in all of their U.S. locations.
A report from NBC states the items are all still available for purchase at the request of the customer.
Walmart spokesperson reportedly told NBC the reasoning is “a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers” due to “isolated civil unrest” and that this is not the first time for this over the past few years.
