(Hot Springs County, WY) – The Town of Thermopolis Public Works Department is requesting that residents refrain from yard watering and excessive water use for the next few days, due to the recent flash flooding and construction project at the water plant.
“With the recent flash floods causing an oversaturation of red dirt and the construction project on one of the two clarifiers at the water plant, (it) has resulted in the reduced production of water for all of our customers,” the notice shared Thursday afternoon on the Town Facebook page informs.
Normal household use is not affected at this time.
