The Fremont County Library System offers access to a wealth of medical information through the GoWYLD website. Discover a huge variety of resources through various databases covering all sorts of medical topics. Many of these databases feature full-text journals as well as educational videos. You will also find links to sites like PubMed and Medline Plus, hosted by the National Library of Medicine, that are packed with consumer health information.
Nursing students may want to check out Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition, which gives full-text access to many scholarly journals and patient education sheets for hundreds of drugs. Also provided is a link to Wyoming Nursing Resources, a collection of resources compiled by the University of Wyoming.
Most of these resources are generously provided through the University of Wyoming. They can be accessed remotely but require a login with a valid library card number and PIN. Please check with your local library if you encounter problems logging in.
