(Arapahoe, WY) – Members of the Arapaho Warriors Legion Post 96, led by Post Commander Felicia Antelope, recently shared with County 10 that, thanks to High Plains Power, they were able to raise and install a new flagpole at the Northern Arapaho Powwow grounds.
Post 96 representatives said that High Plains Power often looks for charity work around the community, and volunteered their equipment and services to help install the pole. They added that while High Plains workers “Eric and Kyle” were “humble and did not want any recognition for it,” the Post wanted folks to know that the crew was “awesome and deserve to be recognized.”
“The Legion Post 96 would like to thank Eric and Kyle and High Plains Power for their time and for their volunteer work to the community,” Post 96 shared.
The flagpole was also able to be installed just in time for the Northern Arapaho Community Powwow, taking place this weekend from June 5 through June 7. Post 96 will serve as the Color Guard for the Powwow ceremonies. Check out the flyer below for all the details.
