(Fremont County, WY) – High Plains Power is warning customers of scam callers, according to a post shared on their business Facebook page on June 17.
The post states they have received several calls from customers letting them know that scammers are calling and trying to collect payment, and that they will shut off your power in 30 minutes if you fail to do so.
High Plains Power advises to hang up the phone, call the number on your bill or check your “smarthub” to view your current balance.
