(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 20, will be mostly sunny and hot for this time of the year, with a high around 80 degrees. We can expect west winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour by this afternoon.
Tonight will be mostly clear, with lows in the lower 40s and west winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour.
Lipson added that before yesterday’s high of 80 degrees in both Lander and Riverton, the earliest in the year Riverton has seen an 80-degree temperature is April 23rd, and the earliest in the year Lander has seen 80 degrees is April 11th. More warm temperatures are expected this weekend.
As a reminder, the National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag Warning for Fremont County, effective today through Saturday, March 21, at 9 PM.
