Join us at the Lander Library on Wednesday, July 17th at 10:30am for a very special story time performance by Mr. Scooter! Mr. Scooter is a storyteller, rapper, and children’s librarian from Wilmington, North Carolina. He has released two children’s albums as Melvil Dewey – International Library Hip Hop Superstar and is the creator of Book Wrangler and Rap Battle of the Books. This event will be geared towards elementary aged children, but all ages are welcome!
That afternoon, Mr. Scooter will host a hip hop workshop for teens (rising 7th-12th graders) at 3 o’clock.
