The Rustic Pine Tavern on Ramshorn in Dubois has kept fairly close to its 1917 roots with the rawness that personifies Wyoming.
Last month, Dubois resident and Rustic Pine’s new owner Luke Sander made it the very first smoke-free bar in Dubois.
Wyoming has “weaker restrictions” in regards to Smokefree Air Laws compared to all of our neighboring states, according to the American Lung Association.
While this could be a big change for some, Luke hopes to attract more folks to the now smoke-free bar. He also shared plans to bring back more live music and to really build a kind of community center where events can be held.
Don’t worry, taxidermied wildlife mounts still adorn the walls, and the title of “World’s Most Unique Bar” isn’t going anywhere.
