The Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC) has shared that on Saturday, March 21st, 2020, an inmate at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington has died.
48-year-old Jeffrey Robert Brown “died from an apparent suicide,” according to the WDOC release. An autopsy has been ordered and an investigation will be conducted.
Brown was sentenced on March 5, 2009, by Platte County District Court Judge Keith G. Kautz. He was serving 20 to 30 years for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree.
