(Lander, WY) – This morning, Lander Mayor Monte Richardson announced that “Police Chief Thomas Shroyer is no longer with the Lander Police Department,” according to a press release. Until the vacancy is filled, Richardson has appointed Sergeant Ron Wells as the interim Police Chief.
Sergeant Wells was hired on the Lander Police Department in July of 2001, the release said. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2009 and has 19 years of experience as a Lander Police Officer.
