(Fort Washakie, WY) – The kids’ eyes were shining just as bright as the Christmas lights Friday night in Fort Washakie while drinking cocoa and singing carols, all in celebration of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe’s 4th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade.
Organizer Alejandra Robinson served as the MC and parade announcer, which had multiple Santas and Grinches tossing candy and treats to the kiddos in attendance.
Once the parade did a second pass, the post office became the hub of Christmas fun, with music, free hot cocoa/sweet treats, and concluded with a Christmas Tree/decoration lighting countdown.
The night then wrapped up with a Christmas feast at Rocky Mountain Hall.
