All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Fremont County, WY) – The jury trial for Conrad Tillman has been reset a second time, and is now scheduled to take place on December 16.
Tillman faces charges for first degree murder, discharging and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, and use of a firearm causing murder, in relation to the April 14 murder that resulted in the death of 36-year-old Utahnna BearComesOut (aka Tillman).
Tillman pled “not guilty” at his June 10 arraignment hearing, and since that time his jury trial has moved from August 12, to October 21, and now to December 16.
The most recent rescheduling was announced at a status conference, held on September 13 before the Honorable District Judge Kelly H. Rankin, where a motion for an Ends of Justice Continuance filed on September 6 was ultimately granted by the Court.
That motion indicated that the Defense is “waiting on outstanding expert reports from the government,” and that the Counsel “needs additional time to consult with defense experts based on forensic reports recently disclosed by the government.”
Following the granting of the motion, the December 16 jury trial was set.
