All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Riverton, WY) – A September 23 jury trial has been set for 48-year-old Sherette Lujan following his August 2 arraignment hearing, which was overseen by the Honorable US Magistrate Judge Mark L. Carman.
Lujan pled “not guilty” to felony property destruction at the hearing, and the jury trial was set.
Lujan was arrested on June 15 after reportedly breaking out numerous glass window and door panels inside the Riverton Post Office, and was subsequently federally charged with felony injury or depredation to United States property.
Lujan also reportedly admitted to law enforcement during questioning that he had ingested “abnormally potent” methamphetamine prior to the incident.
