Kindergarten Readiness Academy is storytime geared specifically for pre-K children/children going into Kindergarten. Designed around phonological activities that are critical for early literacy success. Each session will include:
- An animal read aloud.
- Animal songs and chants.
- A shared reading activity of some kind (either a poem, song, or big book including phonological awareness activities, like rhyming, clapping the sounds in words, etc.)
Sessions will include ideas and tips for caregivers reinforcing these same skills at home to help their children prepare for school.
