(Lander, WY) – Lander pulled out hard fought win over Mountain View Friday in Lander. Mountain View, who knocked Lander out of the conference tournament last year, wasn’t as lucky this time around, falling to the Tigers 50-63.
The Tigers were happy to have senior Quincy Guina back in the lineup, as he contributed hard-nosed defense throughout the game, diving for loose balls, and putting up 5 points off the bench. Noah St. Clair and Finn McFadden dominated on both sides of the ball, starting with causing turnovers on the defensive end of the floor.

Mountain View began to claw their way back into the game in the 4th quarter, but some big steals and big shots for the Tigers pulled them away from a close ending.

The Tigers were also able to squeak out a two-point win over Wheatland Saturday, winning 40-38 on the road.
