(Lander, WY) – The Lander City Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, in the City Council Chambers at 240 Lincoln Street.
The agenda for the meeting includes six items related to the recent and unexpected passing of Lander Mayor Monte Richardson:
- approve a resolution setting forth the powers and duties of the mayor pro tempore
- nominate and elect a mayor pro tempore
- authorize the mayor pro tempore to be a signatory on all city accounts
- authorize the removal of Mayor Richardson from all city accounts
- waive Lander Community and Convention Center fees for Richardson’s memorial
- discuss the legal procedure to fill mayoral and city council position vacancies
