(Fremont County, WY) – The Lander Elks continue to contribute to the good works of Fremont County and recently distributed $3,500 to three organizations.
The organizations included both the Fremont County Group Homes in Riverton and Lander, $1,000 each and $1,500 to the Lander Care and Share Food Bank.
This $3,500 was awarded to Lander from the Grand National Order of Elks of which Lander is a distinguished and active Lodge that supports and gives back to their local communities.
“The Elks are your neighbors, your family, your friends, and we pledge to help build a stronger community through youth activities, lifelong leadership development, veterans assistance, and charitable works improving the quality of life in Fremont County,” shared Kary Sommers, Lander Elks Lodge Trustee.
