(Lander, WY) – The Lander Community and Convention Center was packed on October 24 for the annual Guns, Boots & Brands event, hosted by the Lander chapter of Kiwanis International.
Dozens of local businesses, artists, and organizations came together to provide various auction items, make donations, and purchase event tables. As of November 6, Ryan Flatt from the Kiwanis confirmed that they raised around $22,000 (in profit after event costs) from table sales, sponsor donations, and the auction. All profits are reinvested in various local youth needs.
In addition to raising funds for a great cause, attendees got to enjoy dinner, some amazing local art, the spoils of the live auction, and entertainment from the Lander Pipe Band and the Low Water String Band.

While Kiwanis member Brian Rohrbacher addressed the crowd, he shared that the Lander Kiwanis has raised over $200,000 over the last 9 years.
MC Cade Maestas caught up with County 10 after speaking to attendees, and shared that this year’s event turnout was one of, if not the largest, in Guns, Boots, and Brands’ history.
“This year, for the Guns, Boots and Brands, we’ve had a record number of table sponsors show up,” Maestas commented. “We had a lot of art sponsors, people who just contributed if they couldn’t be here. I haven’t counted, but I think it’s a record number of attendees. They’re all very excited. They’re all here to support what I think is a great cause. It’s exciting to look out and see the place packed with so many people happy to be here.”
