(Lander, WY) – Head Coach Brian Oland recently shared that the Lander Legion Baseball’s 17U Legends are headed to the State Tournament in Gillette.
“The Legends finished their season undefeated in conference play and undefeated against all B teams, proving they’re a force to be reckoned with,” Oland told County 10. “Their relentless effort and team-first attitude have earned them a well-deserved shot at a state title.
The State Tournament will take place next Thursday and go through Sunday.
The 15U-C team also wrapped up a very successful season, finishing 24–9 and just narrowly missing out on the state tournament, Oland added. “These young athletes have shown tremendous growth and grit all year long.”
“The coaching staff is incredibly proud of how hard these players have worked and the way they’ve competed every game. Lander Legion Baseball continues to rise, quickly becoming one of the top up-and-coming programs in the state.”
