(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that multiple areas in Wyoming saw record-breaking temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Lander broke 2013’s 96-degree record on Tuesday by one degree, as well as 2024’s 94-degree record with a 99-degree high on Wednesday. Riverton also broke the previous record by one degree on Tuesday, clocking in a 97-degree high, and topped out at 99 degrees on Wednesday, breaking 2019’s record of 94 degrees.

Thursday is currently experiencing significantly lower temperatures, a trend that looks to continue into this weekend.
