(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School girls basketball coach Serol Stauffenberg has been voted as the 2021 regional coach of the year. The award is voted on by coaches in the 3A west.
LVHS finished atop the standings this year with a 17-6 overall record. The Lady Tigers finished regional runner-up and won their first round game at state, a 4 point decision against Newcastle, before falling to Douglas and Worland.
Stauffenberg has been head coach for 3 years and LVHS has qualified for state all three years.
