(Wyoming) – A blast of winter has affected Wyoming springtime travel early Monday.
Wyoming Department of Transportation crews have closed Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Laramie in both directions as of 4:50 a.m. Around 6:05 a.m. they were forced to close a section between Wamsutter and Rock Springs. Several sections that remain open are listed as “slick with snowfall.”
WYDOT updates road conditions first and will have information via wyoroad.info, by calling 511 in the state or using their 511 mobile app.
In Fremont County, WY-28 South Pass has also been closed due to winter conditions.
