Come hear the story of Wyoming’s own hero of endangered species: the black-footed ferret. Learn how a Wyoming ranching family and their dog played a key role in the survival of America’s rarest mammal. Two domestic ferrets from the USFWS National Black-Footed Ferret Conservation Center will be on hand to answer questions along with Ranger Angelina from Wyoming State Parks. All ages are welcome to join us at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, in the Riverton Branch Library’s Community Room.
