Quite the lightning storm rolled through the area last night. So much so it knocked out the computers to the only gas station in Shoshoni, and reader comments indicate multiple personal computers too. Our neighbors to the north are also sharing about the lighting.
Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis reports a tree was struck and sent shards flying as far away as 230 feet. There was also enough force to cause a piece to get stuck in another tree across the street. 😲
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
