(Fremont County, WY) – During the Fremont County Commissioners’ meeting today, February 9th it was shared that ConocoPhillips has plans to sell Wyoming assets which includes those around Lysite.
County 10 connected with ConocoPhillips Lower 48 Communications Director April Andrews who shared the following statement about selling those assets.
“ConocoPhillips is in the initial stages of marketing its Wind River Basin asset. This process is part of our overall strategy to provide affordable energy to the world, continue our commitment to ESG excellence and deliver competitive returns. A sale will only be concluded if a potential buyer recognizes the value of the asset and offers a fair market value.”
According to the ConocoPhillips Lower 48 Corporate Fact Sheet, the Wind River Basin operations includes “the Madden Field, which covers approximately 80,000 acres, and the Lost Cabin Gas Plant in Fremont and Natrona counties, Wyoming.”
No other information was released at this time. County 10 will post an update if more is shared.
