(Lander, WY) – The Lander Community Foundation (LCF) shares that Lander’s First Interstate Bank (FIB) and the First Interstate Bancsystem Foundation have joined Challenge for Charities (C4C) as a Matching Pool Fund Challenger. This year marks over $41,000 contributed from FIB to the Matching Pool Fund.
“We are grateful to FIB and their employees for continuing to prioritize our Lander nonprofit community when deciding the direction of their philanthropic contributions,” offers Mary Greene, Executive Director of LCF.
The Lander Community Foundation is incredibly impressed with the support they have received from so many Lander-area businesses and citizens this year, the 11th year of Challenge for Charities.
“The donations we receive for the Matching Pool Fund will positively impact all 43 participating nonprofits through C4C. Increasing the Matching Pool Fund leverages the donations that the participating nonprofits raise, which benefits the entire Lander community,” Mary Greene added.
