Captain Luke Urish (LVHS ‘96) and First Officer Chad Kennedy (RHS ‘91) are pilots for Southwest Airlines and recently got to fly a trip together.
“Jeremy “JP” Pepper is another Southwest pilot from Riverton, but we’d love for more county 10ers to come fly with us!” Urish said.
Chad completed a 20 year career in the Navy flying H-60s, H-3s and C-26s. He then flew King Air 300s and 350s, and the 747-400 before starting at Southwest in 2018. His parents Jim and Joyce Kennedy are retired educators who worked at RHS, but now live in Casper.
Luke spent 15 years in the Air Force flying C-9s, KC-10s, HJT-16s, and C-40s. His dad, Jim Urish, was a pastor in Lander and his mom, Anne Urish who now resides in Colorado Springs, served on the FCSD#1 school board for two terms.
