A Thermopolis local, Amie Toyne, wishes to honor all Vietnam Veterans from the Big Horn Basin, which includes Big Horn, Fremont, Park, Hot Springs and Washakie counties.
Amie invites the Veterans to Thermopolis on June 30 to be presented with a Band Aid for the Heart Pin at the VFW, 302 Broadway, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
The Band Aid for the Heart Pin is to help heal the hearts for the treatment these Veterans received when returning home.
Air Force Major Mike Toyne will briefly talk and present the pins to the Veterans.
Refreshments will be served and a meal will be provided.
