(Lander, WY) — Forest Service Road 300 (Louis Lake Road, known locally as “the Loop Road”) is now open in its entirety as of at least June 20, according to the Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest.
The Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest has reminded folks that all campgrounds in the area are non-reservable and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The Washakie Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest’s hours are 8am-12:30pm/1:30-4:30 PM, M-F, and they are closed for federal holidays.
