Lander Police Department Chief Thomas Shroyer confirmed during the Lander City Council meeting tonight, December 8th that a body was NOT found in Lander today.
Chief Shroyer stated this during the meeting to squash rumors that are currently circulating after what appears to be a “cavalry-era boot” was dug up with what is very likely animal bones.
The location of where it was dug up was not disclosed during the meeting.
