UPDATE: Shortly after the LPD shared this release, County 10 obtained the names of the three individuals charged from Fremont County Prosecuting Attorney Micah Wyatt. They are as follows:
- Richard Gray Dollard – Murder in the 2nd Degree (option of voluntary manslaughter )
- Jesse Dollard – Accessory Before the Fact (to the above charges)
- Justin Ray Dollard – Accessory Before the Fact (to the above charges)

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Lander, WY) – Today, January 13, the Lander Police Department has shared the following update regarding the fatal bar altercation that occurred on January 9. The release, which did not include the names of those charged, is available in full below.
The Lander Police Department is providing a follow-up to a prior media release regarding an altercation that occurred at the Maverick Bar on January 9, 2026, which resulted in the death of one individual.
Since the incident, the Lander Police Department has worked collaboratively with the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation and the Fremont County Attorney’s Office to conduct a comprehensive and thorough investigation. This process included the review of critical case facts, examination of available video surveillance, and the completion of multiple interviews with involved parties and witnesses.
As a result of this investigation, three adult males have been arrested and formally charged. One subject has been charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree. Consistent with Wyoming law and the judicial process, the charges include consideration of a possible lesser included offense of Manslaughter, the 2 other subjects have been charged with Accessory Before the Fact to Murder in the 2nd Degree also including the possible lessor offense of Accessory Before the Fact to Manslaughter, which will ultimately be determined through court proceedings
The determination of appropriate charges required careful analysis of the evidence and applicable Wyoming statutes. Law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies took the necessary time to ensure that all investigative steps were completed and that charging decisions were consistent with the facts of the case and the law.
