(Lander, WY) – Back in January, Lander Valley High School Principal Brad Neuendorf announced a new project that aims to help recognize “the long and deep tradition of (LVHS) graduates going on to serve in our nation’s military,” in the form of the new Alumni Military Honor Recognition Wall.
Since that time, 160 names have been submitted to be added to the wall, which will be located in the LVHS Commons, but Neuendorf hopes to see another submission push while large numbers of alumni are in town for the upcoming July 4 festivities.
Those interested (must be an LVHS or Fremont County Vocational High School graduate) can fill out the form by clicking here to give the name, graduation year, and branch of service for each graduate who went on to serve in the military.
Neuendorf added that the school plans to do an official grand opening for the recognition wall at the LVHS Veterans Day Celebration event on November 11 next fall.
