(Riverton, WY) – A Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) report states that officers assisted Wyoming Game and Fish in locating a man who fled from a Game Warden on Wednesday, July 21st, 2:37 PM, at Ocean Lake.
According to FCSO Undersheriff Michael Hutchison, a Game Warden had attempted to contact some boaters and a male subject fled in the boat. The subject drove the boat to a cove, exited, and fled on foot.
Deputies assisted the Game Warden in attempting to apprehend the individual but he was not located.
County 10 reached out to Wyoming Game and Fish Lander Region Information and Education Specialist Rene Schell, who told us the case is currently under investigation and cannot be commented on any further at this time.
