(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 19, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
- A letter to the Bureau of Justice Assistance was approved to recognize the Riverton Police Department as the sole applicant and fiscal agent for the disparate grant funds.
- Right-of-Way Easement application from Dubois Telephone Exchange LLC, dba Range for Union Pass Road was approved.
- Right-of-Way Easement application from Dubois Telephone Exchange LLC, dba Range for Warm Springs Creek Rd was approved.
- A grant award agreement between Wyoming Office of Homeland Security and Fremont County to provide federal funds to assist state, local, territorial, and tribal governments for the FY 2025 EMPG Program was approved.
- Right-of-Way Easement application from Dubois Telephone Exchange, LLC dba Range for Horse Creek Rd was approved.
- An Approach/Access Application from Lost Soldier Oil and Gas for Crooks Gap Road was approved.
- An MOU between the University of Wyoming and Fremont County was approved for the Extension program.
- A quote from Olson’s Autobody in the amount of $5,000.86 to come out of the Sheriff budget to repair a Sheriff’s vehicle, was accepted.
- The Commissioners’ Scholarship was awarded to the following individuals: Jasper Beutler, Addison Peart, and Paulina Harris. One renewal scholarship was awarded to Gracie Collver.
