(Lander, WY) – The Today in the 10 Mental Health Monday segment, which is hosted by Vince Tropea and airs on KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM, continued today with Becky Parker, the Clinical Director for Fremont Counseling Service, and Sharyl Gambler, Cultural Service Tech with Native Connection and White Buffalo, under Wind River Cares.
Parker and Gambler stopped by to talk about the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day events they will be hosting on November 23.
Fremont Counseling and Native Connection are collaborating on events coinciding with Survivor’s Day from 10 AM to 3 PM at both the Riverton Library, located at 1330 W park Ave., and the Lander SIP Drop Center, located at 276 N 8th Street.

The main goal of Mental Health Monday is to start an open dialogue about a number of mental health topics, and how folks are being affected on local, state and national levels.
Guests range from psychiatrists, psychologists, school/drug/grief counselors, and any other professionals in the field, as well as testimonials from those affected by mental health issues, such as students, veterans, first responders, and many more.
