(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, January 28, will be noticeably milder as the expected ridge of high-pressure falls over the Northern and Central Rockies and a warming trend hits our area.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that inversions and cold temperatures persist in the Wind River and Green River Basins, with near to above-normal temperatures expected elsewhere. Dry weather is expected through at least most of Friday.
High temperatures will again be a little all over the place today, with Jeffrey City and South Pass in the 30’s, Lander in the 20’s, Riverton and Shoshoni in the teens, and Dubois up at 41 degrees. Lows tonight will also vary, with Dubois at 22 degrees, South Pass and Jeffrey City in the teens, Lander in the single digits, and Riverton and Shoshoni down in the negative teens.
