(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 17, will be partly sunny and mild.
Snow in the Wind River Mountains is expected again today, which may cause some blow-over snow flurries in the Lander Foothills and Beaver Rim areas. Lipson added that a snowband may occur over Boysen Dam and the Wind River Canyon into the late morning.
As for snow accumulation, Lipson says Togwotee Pass may see 5-10 inches, 2-4 inches for South Pass (with some blowing and drifting snow in this area), and little or none for most other areas in the county.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that high temperatures will be in the 30’s and lower 40’s for most today, with lows tonight in the lower 20’s and upper teens.
