(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that we will see some relief from the hot temperatures today, July 15, thanks to a trough of low pressure that is is tracking across the Northern Rockies.
Lipson says that this trough will flatten out the northern extension of high pressure that has been in our area, which will result in the warmer temperatures moving to the south.
Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions, especially in the afternoon, and thanks to that trough we will see some widely scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms that could have wind gusts up to 55 mph, with chances of lightning and small hail.
Conditions should be mostly cloudy tonight after any storms subside.
High temperatures will be in the lower 90’s for most today, with lows tonight in the lower 60’s.
