(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the combination of a trough of low pressure and a cold front will give us a continuation of light to moderate snow today, November 4.
Lipson says this means we could see an inch or two of snow in the Riverton and Lander area by the end of the day, 3-6 inches in the South Pass/Beaver Rim area, and 6-8 inches in the higher elevations around Lander. Lipson also shared snow showers are expected tonight into tomorrow.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that gusty winds increase today, continuing into tomorrow, and that snow chances are moving into western Wyoming late this afternoon, lasting through Wednesday as well.
Today’s high temperatures will be in the 40’s and 30’s, with lows tonight in the 20’s for most.
