(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 27, we can expect mostly sunny and cooler weather underneath the upper-level trough in the area, with winds veering to the west/northwest gusting up to 35 to 40 mph.
For the Togwotee Pass area, expect snow accumulations of one to three inches.
Lipson says that tonight, a Canadian cold front will push in from the north, bringing winds gusting up to 40 mph and colder temperatures. Expect scattered rain showers quickly changing over to snow showers tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will be in the 40s for most areas today (South Pass at 27 degrees, Dubois at 29 degrees, and Jeffrey City at 39 degrees), with lows tonight in the teens.
