(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 28, will be mostly sunny in the morning and partly sunny in the afternoon, with widely scattered afternoon thunderstorms.
Some storms may produce brief wind gusts of 45-55 mph, locally heavy rainfall and small hail as additional monsoonal moisture gets into the mix. Otherwise, we can expect sustained afternoon winds from the southwest at 15-25 mph with gusts to 30 mph, and highs in the upper 80s.
Tonight, widely scattered evening thunderstorms are likely, with partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
